About

Aanchal Singhal is a public policy professional based in New Delhi, with a focus on women's economic empowerment in India. Her work spans legislative research, political communication, and policy analysis — always asking how structural and social forces shape women's participation in economic life.
She holds a Master of Public Policy from the National Law School of India University and a BA in Philosophy (Hons) from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She has worked as a LAMP Fellow in the Indian Parliament, a researcher at the All India Congress Committee, and a development fellow in Odisha.

Selected for the Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship administered by PRS Legislative Research. Served as Legislative Assistant to Honourable Lok Sabha MP S. Jothimani (Karur, Tamil Nadu), Indian National Congress — conducting legislative research, drafting briefs, and supporting parliamentary work.

Interned at Janaagraha in Bengaluru, creating social media content and conducting research to support the organisation's work on urban governance and active citizenship.
